The Double Surprise Lily is a favourite with everyone. Even those who suffer from allergies but dream of having a flower bed can grow it, as it is a pollen-free plant.
Looks and scent
Double Surprise is a medium-high, lush green shrub. Its upright shoots reach for the sun and its elongated leaves stretch out as if to stretch the bush in different directions. Despite the riot of foliage, the lily has a neat appearance.
In the second half of summer a terrycloth will appear on top of the greenery. This is created by the large pink double rows of flowers. The outer petals are soft pink and the inner ones are purple. The neck, on the other hand, is snow-white, touching the yellow-green stamens. The sweet smell of the lily is almost impossible to smell, it is so faint.
