Product Description - Lily (Lilium) Blushing Joy
Lily (Lilium) ‘Blushing Joy’ is a compact Pot Asiatic lily from the Joy-series, bred for strong growth and reliable performance in containers and small garden spaces. Its flowers are a clear, pure red, creating a bold accent that reads beautifully from a distance. Extra dark green foliage and a distinctive dark stem deepen the colour effect, making the red blooms look even more intense. Even a single pot looks decorative, while several bulbs together create a dense, boutique-style display with strong visual impact.
The plant grows to a height of about 50–60 cm (20–24 inches) and produces medium-large flowers with a diameter of about 17 cm in a clean, vivid red tone. Its compact proportions keep the display tidy in pots and tubs, yet the blooms still look substantial in patio arrangements and near the front of summer borders. Flowering is in summer, and ‘Blushing Joy’ performs best in sun to light shade in fertile, well-drained soil or a free-draining potting mix kept evenly moist but not waterlogged, especially in containers.
