Product Description - Lily (Lilium) Original Love
Lilium 'ORIGINAL LOVE' is an ornamental, unpretentious LA-hybrid plant in the Lilium family. A grown plant can reach a height of 120 cm. The stems are alternately covered with large, oblong, slightly glossy, dark green leaves. The flowers are fairly large (15-17 cm in diameter), pointing sideways and are a deep red (maroon). The flowers have a pleasant light scent. This lily variety prefers to grow in fertile, well-drained, organic-rich and moist soil.
A very sun-loving plant that can also grow in semi-shade (flowering is weak and short-lived). The flowering period lasts 95 days from the end of June. It is recommended that it is cut and covered over the winter when it is finished flowering. It is almost completely free of garden diseases (powdery mildew, etc.) and is not affected by garden pests (spider mites, etc.). It can be grown as a cutter as well as a decoration for flowerbeds etc.

How to Plant - Lily (Lilium) Original Love

Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is 2-3 times deeper than the height of the bulb.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing up.

Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist.

Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the bulb regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
