Lily (Lilium) P517 Orange dubbel az2020-21

Lily (Lilium) 'P517' Orange Double (Az 2020–21) is a compact Asiatic-type lily with lush, double (multi-petaled) blooms in a vivid orange tone. The full, layered flowers give a “peony-like” effect and look especially striking in patio pots and at the front of summer borders. As an Asiatic lily, it typically has little to no fragrance, making it a comfortable choice for terraces and indoor arrangements. The bright orange color pairs beautifully with purple and blue companions, as well as dark-leaved plants for extra contrast. Planted in a small group, it creates a dense, boutique-style display with strong visual impact.

The plant grows to a height of about 40–60 cm (16–24 inches) and produces lush, double (multi-petaled) blooms with a diameter of about 12–16 cm in a vivid bright orange tone. The full, layered flowers create a “peony-like” effect and look especially striking in patio pots and at the front of summer borders, and as an Asiatic-type lily it typically has little to no fragrance, making it a comfortable choice for terraces and indoor arrangements. Flowering is in summer (typically June–August), and it performs best in full sun to light partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil (or a free-draining potting mix in containers) kept evenly moist but not waterlogged.
