This snow-white beauty is unusual due to its wavy petals, located on the bud in several layers. Its open flower resembles a ballerina's skirt: airy with several layers of ruffles. Lily Polar Star belongs to the densely double oriental lilies.
Appearance and aroma
The flower has two rows of staggered wavy petals of pale white color. The core of the flower is green-yellow. Stamens with anthers are absent. The flower contrasts beautifully with the dark green stem and leaves. The veins on the petals can be white-green from the core to the center.
From 2 to 6, buds are formed on the stem, which can stand for up to 2 weeks in cut form and fill the space with their lightness. They have a sweet, captivating aroma, especially in the evening.
The flowering period July - August, can bloom up to 4 weeks.
