Has large flowers up to 20 cm in diameter. They are formed by several balls of snow-white petals. The persistent fragrance of the flowers on the thick, metre-long flower stalks can be heard from afar. A real showy addition to the garden. Suitable for bouquet arrangements.

Propagated by bulb. The plant can be planted in autumn and spring. For spring planting, wait until all frosts have passed. They also do well indoors. They like loose, mineral-rich, well-drained soil. Avoid overwatering as this can be harmful to the plants. The flowers like sunlight but the flower stems and leaves prefer to remain in the penumbra. Overwinter the cuttings should be covered with a 15 cm layer of peat.
