Lily Profundo
Lily Profundo - flower bulbs and perennial plants from Holland
Product Description - Lily Profundo
Profundo belongs to the modern OT-hybrid lilies. It is the result of a cross between an Oriental Oriental flower and a tubular lily. As a result of this floral collaboration, the Profundo plant has gained the large size and pleasant scent of Oriental lilies as well as the disease resistance and adaptability in all climates of the tubular lily varieties.
Appearance and scent
The hybrid is endowed with a sturdy flower stalk and wide, upward-facing flowers. The buds consist of six monochromatic petals, a pistil and six colourful stamens with large pollen trays. This hybrid is characterised by its intense colours.
The flowers, which open undulatingly in the second half of summer, have a fragrant scent. But its sweetness is unobtrusive. The leaves of the Profundo lily are standard, rounded at the base and elongated at the edge.
Height: up to 120 cm.
Flowering time: July to August.
Bud shape: tubular.
