Product Description - Lily (Lilium) Tribal Dance
Lily Tribal Dance (Asiatic Lilium 'Tribal Dance'). A novelty! This is a hybrid of the Asian lily. You will definitely like it because of its bright colour. The flowers are a stunning salmon colour with purple spots and specks closer to the centre.
Appearance
This lily has spectacular two-tone flowers. They are tubular in shape, wide open, and look upwards (up-facing). The flowers bloom early, in early summer, 90 days after planting. The stamens are red-brown in colour. Each flower consists of 3 petals and 3 sepals, with a glossy texture that is difficult to distinguish from each other. The flowers are odourless. Each sturdy stem produces 5-7 stunning flowers that offer an explosion of tropical colour. The flowers are 12-15 cm in diameter. It has a very high frost resistance - it can withstand up to -45.5°C. A reliable plant! Looks great in flower beds, borders, and bouquets. Looks better in groups of 3-5 (or more). It is the most stable and hardy lily. The Asian lily is easy to care for. Growing it, you will be rewarded with colourful flowers.
To plant it, choose a place with well-drained soil. In addition, the soil should be fertile and moist. Clay soils are also suitable. Places where water stagnates should be avoided. Location - sunny side or light partial shade. The plant is about 90 cm tall (although there are specimens higher). The flowering season is early to mid-summer.

How to Plant - Lily (Lilium) Tribal Dance
Planting & Care Instructions
Lilies are elegant summer-flowering bulbs ideal for garden beds, borders, pots and cut flower arrangements. For the best flowering results, choose a suitable location and follow the recommended planting depth for high-quality bulbs.
- Planting time: Plant the bulbs in spring (March to May) or autumn (September to December). Flowering time generally occurs in summer, from June to July.
- Position & soil: Choose a sunny position or partial shade. Plant in rich, loose and well-drained soil. Avoid areas where water tends to collect.
- Planting depth & spacing: Place the bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards. For standard lily bulbs, size 14/16 cm (XL), plant approximately 12–15 cm deep and 20–30 cm apart.
- Watering: Water regularly during active growth and flowering, but avoid waterlogging. Ensure proper drainage to keep the bulbs healthy.
- Growing in containers: Use pots or balcony boxes with drainage holes and a rich, well-drained potting mix. Ensure containers are deep enough to accommodate root growth.
- After flowering: Remove faded flowers to prevent seed formation, but allow the stem and foliage to remain until they naturally turn yellow and die back. This allows the bulb to store energy for the next season.
- Returning each year: Lilies are winter-hardy perennials that naturally return and bloom year after year when left undisturbed in suitable growing conditions.
