Asian hybrid lilies are the largest group of garden lilies today. This group of lilies was created by hybridisers in the United States, and for the first time it was called 'Mid-Century Hybrids. '. Compared to Oriental lilies, Asian hybrid lilies bloom earlier (from early to mid-summer), the plants are shorter, the flowers are slightly smaller. Most varieties have flowers that face upwards and are shaped like a star. This easy-to-grow lily is hardy and reliable. It grows in almost any garden, as long as it has sun. It is an excellent choice for gardeners in cold areas, and also thrives in warmer parts of the country. The spectacular flowers attract butterflies and other insects to the garden during the long flowering season. This variety looks best in groups of 3-5.

Lily bulbs should be planted in spring or autumn in well-prepared soil. The place should be chosen in advance. Plants require direct sunlight in the morning and shade at noon. The soil requires moist and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic reaction, with an acidity index of pH 5.5-6.5 (heather soil). Lily bulbs are usually planted to a depth that is about twice the height of the bulb. Large bulbs are planted about 15-20 cm deep, and small bulbs are planted to a depth of 10-15 cm. Planting density: 9-12 bulbs per square metre. With proper care, your efforts should be rewarded with an annual bloom of fabulous flowers. Please note that the number of buds directly depends on the size of the bulb.
