Product Description - Muscari Azureum
Muscari azureum or Muscari azure. New! This is a low, unpretentious bulbous plant, up to 15 cm tall. It is one of the best spring flowering plants. It has dark blue with a white border, glossy flowers (as if they were recently polished). They are small, numerous, drooping, collected in racemose inflorescences. Peduncles up to 8 cm tall. The leaves are linear, narrow, collected in basal rosettes. A reliable variety about which you can say: "Planted and forgotten". It is one of the first to start. It blooms in early to mid-spring for a very long time (3-5 weeks). It belongs to the ephemeroid class.
One of the main advantages of this variety is that the bulbs can be planted very early without any problems. It grows quickly, forming a beautiful flowering carpet. For the best effect, plant the bulbs in small groups. It grows best in open sunny areas. It also feels good in partial shade. Suitable for mass planting in flower beds, lawns, lawns, under the crowns of trees and shrubs. It looks spectacular in multi-tiered compositions, for example, with tulips and light-coloured daffodils. Ideal for creating borders and for planting in containers. It does not need to be covered for the winter. The flowering period is March-April.
