Appearance

This variety is very different from other daffodils! It grows up to 30-40 cm in height. The flowers of this daffodil are charming and look like a butterfly. They are large and spectacular, rising on strong stems. The crown (tube) is slightly shorter than or equal to the perianth lobes (petals). It is split by more than a third of its length. Its lobes are corrugated, usually bent with a ruffled edge and an eye in the centre. The perianth lobes are rounded, not bent back. The flowers are arranged horizontally and have a pleasant mild aroma. They bloom in the middle to late season and have a long flowering period (up to three weeks). Each peduncle produces 2-3 flowers. The size of the flower is 10-12 cm in diameter.

This daffodil is ideal for mass planting, for creating borders, for planting in containers and for cutting. It looks better in groups of 5-15. It is ideal for obtaining the highest quality cut, not only in open ground but also in greenhouses. It grows well in full sun or in patchy shade (requires at least three hours of full sun per day).
