Product Description - Peony Court Jester (ITOH)
Peony Court Jester (ITO peony) is an extremely elegant and rare variety that combines the hardiness of tree peonies with the abundant flowering of herbaceous peonies. Its large semi-double flowers open in delicate pink tones with bright crimson-pink strokes closer to the center, creating the effect of “painted” petals. This contrast and play of colors make each flower unique — as if it is truly playing with the colors of nature.
The plant forms a neat, dense bush with dark green, deeply dissected leaves that remain decorative until late autumn. Thanks to its strong stems, the peony holds its flowers well and does not need to be tied up. Court Jester is perfect for flower beds, mixed borders, and solitary plantings, and also looks great in cut form, filling the space with luxury and sophistication.
