Product Description
Perovskia Blue Spire is a bright and spectacular aromatic perennial plant, and it is called Russian sage. This shrub reaches up to 150 centimeters in height and the same width. The leaves of this plant are narrow, pubescent silver-gray. When rubbing the leaves, an aroma similar to the smell of sage spreads. Many small lavender-blue flowers bloom on highly branched, tall stems collected in large beautiful inflorescences. The flowering period is August-September.
Prefers to grow in sunny places. It grows well on dry, sandy, well-drained soil. This plant is very fragrant. Perovskia Blue Spire is perfect for sunny borders and rockeries. It is also widely used in flower beds and mixed borders. It will grow more intensively and give more flowers if fed with a small amount of compost. The plant is quite winter-hardy and withstands temperatures down to -30C.

How to Plant
Guide and tips for planting perovskia plant

Choose a spot in your garden that receives full sun to partial shade and has well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is slightly larger than the root ball of the perovskia plant.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen any tangled or circling roots.

Place the perovskia plant in the hole and backfill with soil, making sure the plant is level and straight.

Tamp down the soil gently to remove any air pockets.

Water the plant thoroughly, making sure the soil is evenly moist.

Add a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

Prune the plant in late winter or early spring to remove any dead, damaged, or diseased branches and promote bushier growth.
