Product Description - Planting Onions Setton
Seton onion is a medium-late variety that is part of the Onion family.
This high-yielding variety is distinguished from other varieties by its rounded, large bulbs, which are coloured yellow-brown and have an extremely pungent taste. The average weight of one bulb is about 100-120 grams.
The Seton variety was bred from the Sturon variety. The bulbs are well levelled and suitable for professional cultivation.
When planting, the distance between plants should be about 8-10 cm in a row, row spacing - 20-25 cm.
It is characterised by a high yield of 6.1 kg/sq.m, with an excellent ripening rate of the bulbs.
This onion variety is perfectly stored and retains moisture due to its dense skin, which makes the onions juicy for a long time. Prefers open sunny areas, fertile, well-drained soil with moderate moisture.
