A beautiful flowering shrub that is not afraid of heat and prolonged drought. It is insensitive to air pollution and high soil salinity, so it is ideal for planting in urban gardens or near industrial areas.
Appearance and aroma
Goldfinger cinquefoil is a plant from the rose family that tolerates cold climates. It is a dense, compact shrub of rounded shape, reaching about a meter in height and 1.5 m in diameter. The plant has small dark green, slightly pubescent leaves on brown shoots. Starting from May, the variety blooms for a long time and abundantly. Flowering ends at the turn of August and September. The flowers are located at the ends of the branches. They are bright, dark yellow, relatively large, up to 5 cm in diameter, and have five overlapping petals.
Goldfinger bushes shed their leaves in winter and are entirely frost-resistant. As a result, they are rarely affected by diseases and pests, so they do not require complex chemical protection. However, in hot and dry months, the plant is sometimes attacked by spider mites.
