Product Description - Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Terra Mystica
Terra Mystica Amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Terra Mystica', Terra Mystica Amaryllis, Butterfly Group). A unique amaryllis for growing in the flat during the winter months. In warmer countries, it is grown outdoors. You can also grow it in the garden during the summer like other heat-loving plants.
The flowers are simple in shape, brilliant, on compact flowering stems. They are a rich terracotta colour with a contrasting plum throat and a thin white band around the edges of the petals. The flowers are 10-12 cm in diameter. They open 8-10 weeks after planting.The stem grows tall, reaching up to 45-60 cm. It is thick and hollow. The leaves are long, strap-shaped and shiny. Each bulb often produces 4-6 flowers per stem.
The leaves remain green after flowering and continue to grow. Then they die off. The plant begins its dormancy period. The plants are not watered and are thus given a 3-4 month rest. The bulb can be removed from the pot during this time, but the roots must be protected from drying out. Keep the bulb at room temperature during the resting period. Also, do not cut off the flower stems until they have turned yellow; this will help the formation of food that will be stored in the bulb.

How to Plant - Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Terra Mystica
Guide and tips for planting amaryllis(hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.

Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.

Place the bulb in the center of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.

Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist, but not waterlogged.

Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.

Water the plant only when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch.

As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with bright, indirect sunlight.
