The Bowl of Cream peony is a versatile ornament that can transform both the garden and the bouquet into a charming springtime arrangement. This particular variety is ideal for growing in sunny areas that will bring out the beauty of the lush buds. Also, creamy white peonies can make the perfect gift in a cut. The dense, straight stems, which reach 95 cm in height, are suitable for cutting. The stems are decorated with dense, elongated foliage.

Peony plants open their full glory at the end of May or beginning of June. The flower stalk produces one main bud and up to three sub-buds. Regardless of its positioning, the flowers are large and lush, thanks to the abundance of rounded petals. The delicate, almost velvet-like, creamy-white petals take on a light yellow glow in the centre. These buds are able to stay fresh for up to 14 days and gradually replace one another, blooming in waves. The fragrance of the flower is pleasant, with pronounced spicy tones.
The shrub often grows to a height of 90-95 cm and should therefore be supported. When planting, pay attention to plenty of sunshine and loose soil. It is these two conditions that will ensure good growth and flowering of the Bowl of Cream. Don't forget about the watering. Watering should be regular, moderate and without water stagnation at the root.

Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs

Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.

Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist.

Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
