Peony Festiva Pixie is a miniature gem among classic peonies that combines delicate beauty and ease of cultivation even in the smallest garden corners.
Festiva Pixie is a dwarf herbaceous peony with densely double flowers of creamy white color, the center of the peony looks like a crown. Its petals are decorated with delicate crimson-red touches in the center, which give each flower a distinctive charm. Due to its compact size, this variety is ideal for the foreground of flower beds, borders or growing in containers.
Despite its small size, Festiva Pixie has a strong sweet scent that attracts not only people but also butterflies and bees. Strong stems keep the flowers upright without the need for tying. The foliage is dark green, shiny, and retains its decorative effect until late fall, creating a beautiful backdrop for flowering arrangements.

How to Plant - Peony Festiva Pixie (Herbaceous)
Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs

Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.

Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist.

Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
