Peony Myrtle Gentry (Herbaceous)
Product Description - Peony Myrtle Gentry (Herbaceous)
Peony Myrtle Gentry is a true aristocrat among peonies, impressing with its graceful shape and exquisite aroma. Its large, densely double flowers are a delicate cream color with a slight pink tint that changes depending on the lighting, from warm peach to almost white. In the center of the bud, the petals are tightly folded, creating the effect of a dense rosary.
The Myrtle Gentry variety is distinguished by an incredibly rich, sweet aroma that fills the garden with a delicate floral scent and attracts butterflies. Strong, upright stems hold the heavy flowers securely, making the variety suitable for cutting — bouquets of Myrtle Gentry look luxurious and stay fresh for a long time.
The dark green, glossy leaves remain decorative until late autumn, decorating the garden even after flowering has ended. Myrtle Gentry is ideal for single plantings, mixed borders, or as a central accent in compositions with perennials.

How to Plant - Peony Myrtle Gentry (Herbaceous)
Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs
-
Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.
-
Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.
-
Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.
-
Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.
-
Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.
-
Water the soil until it is evenly moist.
-
Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
-
Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.
-
As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.
-
After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
