Peony White Cap is a real treasure among Japanese herbaceous peonies. Its unusual two-tone structure captivates at first glance and gives the garden a distinctive character. This variety is a favorite of designers and collectors thanks to its striking contrast and elegant shape.
The flowers are Japanese in style: purple outer petals form a distinct “calyx,” and in the center is a fluffy cloud of creamy white stamens, giving the bloom visual depth. The contrast between the rich burgundy and light center creates a dynamic effect that looks especially elegant in compositions and bouquets.
Flowering is long and abundant. The stems are strong, well support the weight of the flowers, and the leaves remain decorative until late autumn.

How to Plant - Peony White Cap (Herbaceous)
Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs

Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.

Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.

Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.

Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.

Water the soil until it is evenly moist.

Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.

As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.

After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
