Product Description
A compact variety of Asian buttercup will delight you with the flowering of yellow rosebuds in late spring and early summer. This plant is still little known as a garden plant, but it is much more common in pot culture. Its rhizome tubers have a very intricate shape and are highly fragile. In one season, the plant forms several peduncles that open their umbels in turn, which extends the flowering period by several months.

After flowering, buttercups need to go through a long period of dormancy. In a city apartment, you can simply remove it from the windowsill and cut off the stem after it dries. In the open field, the rhizome is dug up in autumn, trying to keep it as intact as possible, and sent to the basement for wintering after drying. In a flower bed, buttercup is given a ceremonial place in partial shade, where it reveals its potential, delighting with bright, juicy bud caps and longer flowering. At the same time, the plant does not need to be watered often. But infrequent potash fertilisation will help increase the number of daughter tubers and increase the size of the buds.
