Product Description - Tulip Dordogne
Tulip Dordogne is an exquisite variety of Darwin hybrid tulips that impresses with its delicate yet rich color palette. Its cup-shaped flowers have an exceptionally warm color: a soft orange base tone with gradual transitions to pink and salmon shades and a golden sheen along the edges of the petals. The flower looks different in different lighting conditions — from warm apricot to coppery at sunset.
Tall, sturdy stems (up to 55–60 cm) support large flowers with a diameter of up to 10–12 cm, which bloom in the second half of spring. The variety is noted for its long-lasting and stable flowering, making it ideal for gardens, park compositions, and cutting. In bouquets, Dordogne tulips look noble and elegant, retaining their freshness for a long time.
This variety is perfect for creating bright but harmonious spring flower beds, combining well with other pastel or contrasting spring flowers. Easy to grow, frost-resistant, grows well in sunny locations with well-drained soil.
