Tulip Lambada (Fringed Tulip 'Lambada', Crispa Tulip). This variety can surprise. Its name is "Lambada". It is a late flowering variety and belongs to the Fringed Tulip class. It has two-tone flowers with needle fringe. The flower is beautifully shaped, rather dense, and does not open completely in the sun. The petals are pink with a yellow-orange border. Decorate your late spring garden with this tulip named after a popular Latin American dance. The plant is about 50 cm tall.
Fringed tulips in landscape design often become the central figure around which other spring-flowering bulbous plants are grouped. And this variety is no exception. For example, it will go well with white daffodils.
The Fringed Tulips group was founded relatively recently, in the 1980s. It includes varieties that develop petals with characteristic jagged or needle-like edges. The height of the goblet is about 7 cm, and the diameter of the goblet is 5 cm or more. The plants have long stems and are perfect for bouquets. In the garden, they can grow in the same place for 3-4 years. However, in summer, bulbs in moist soil can be exposed to diseases. Therefore, it is better to dig them up if the summer is rainy. The earliest week to plant for forcing is 48.
