Classic red tulips will not surprise anyone, we recommend paying attention to the fashionable Librije variety with white and lilac petals.
Description
Wild tulips are native to the foothills of Asia. They came to Turkey via Iran, and from there they spread to Europe in the 16th century. Their frost resistance allows them to be grown in all regions except the polar regions. Tulips are used to decorate gardens, flower beds, and squares all over the world.
The unusual colour of the Librije variety makes it the king of flower beds. Such a rare purple hue was not sold to the general public until a few years ago. It was sold only to selected growers for cutting. But now you can enjoy these beautiful flowers in your own garden.
The pedicel of the plant is of medium height, strong and stable. The bud is ovoid, the petals are lilac with white edges. The foliage is grey-green, perfectly setting off the gorgeous buds. Flowering occurs in April. As the flower matures, the purple hues intensify.
