A chameleon tulip is a wonderful decoration for the garden. The dense Peptalk variety opens in delicate pink tones. The pastel, slightly pink colour, saturated with light, acquires bright colours. At first, the classic pink is replaced by an ashy colour, and then this shade is replaced by an almost red colour. The buds of the tulip are large, about 8 cm in diameter. Almost completely opening, the glasses become low and lush. Chameleon flowers are fixed on dense stems. Their height is 40-50 cm. The stem of the flower is straight, even, with several elongated leaves.
Peptalk can be grown for cutting, as well as as a decoration and landscaping for any summer area. The variety should be planted in soil with a slightly acidic or neutral reaction. The soil should be loose and moist. For good growth and abundant flowering, mulching should be added to the usual care procedures (watering, loosening the soil and fertilising). The procedure is carried out in autumn with the help of fallen leaves and dry peat.
