Description
Tulips originally grew only in the harsh regions of Asia. People noticed them thousands of years ago and began to cultivate them everywhere. Purple Jacket tulips have a lush bud, the petals seem to be cramped and form a peony-like inflorescence. The petals are of a rich purple hue, the pedicel is of medium height. Flowering begins in late April. The variety is notable for retaining its attractiveness even at the end of flowering. This makes it possible to make long-lasting bouquets and flower arrangements from tulips. Gardeners will be pleasantly surprised by the size of the buds, which are one and a half times larger than those of ordinary tulips.
