Description
Tulips are bulbous perennials. Their original habitat was the foothills of Central Asia and the Caucasus, from where they were settled all over the world by ornamental plant lovers. The enormous popularity of tulips is due not only to their luxurious buds, but also to their ease of cultivation.
Features
The lily-like Schiedam tulip is distinguished by its medium-high, strong pedicels, on which a large bright yellow bud blooms in mid-spring. The flowers are similar to lilies, with bent and pointed petals. Flowering lasts up to 10 days.
