The miniature and early flowering variety Taco belongs to the wild-growing botanical tulips of Clusius, their first discoverer and classifier. The plants are distinguished by their sensual natural beauty and practical unpretentiousness for many growers. Even without care, they will bloom in early April, when most bulbs are just putting out their peduncles. They will show their individuality especially brightly in sunny areas; they may not bloom under the canopy of trees.
The Taco variety is often used in the border of flower beds, they are grouped by 10-20 plants of different shades, creating a continuous low and bright carpet of flowers. In garden plots, the variety is settled in sunny places in flower beds in their foreground. The leaves of the variety are also decorative, have a narrow sword-like shape and retain it for a long time after the bud has bloomed.
