Due to their size, botanical tulips are not only good in gardens but also in containers. They are easy to grow in a flowerpot right in your apartment or on your balcony. The Tinka variety thrives in partial shade and is consistently popular with flower growers.
Description
Tulips come from the mountainous regions of Asia. They came to Turkey via Iran, and from there, in the 16th century, to Europe. Their elegance and resistance to frost made them very popular among breeders. According to statistics, the tulip ranks third among all flowers (roses are in first place, of course). But it is tulips that will illuminate the garden with bright flowers in spring.
The two-coloured Tinka variety is remarkable for its colour: the outer petals are deep red and the inner ones are pale yellow. The botanical tulip is small in height, grows quickly from the bulb, and blooms in late April and throughout May. Individual specimens bloom earlier or later; in a group planting, the flower garden will retain its beauty until summer. If the weather is cloudy, the buds close. Under the sun, the tulip shows a yellow star-shaped pattern.
