Product Description - Astrantia (major) Shaggy
Astrantia major ‘Shaggy’ is a distinctive perennial known for its large, star-like white flowerheads surrounded by long, pointed bracts with green-tipped edges, creating a slightly “shaggy” look. The airy, textured blooms add an elegant, natural feel to cottage gardens, woodland-style borders, and meadow-inspired plantings. It is also excellent for cutting, bringing long-lasting structure and a soft, sophisticated accent to bouquets. This variety is ideal when you want a pollinator-friendly plant with a unique form and a long flowering season.
The plant grows to a height of 50–70 cm (20–28 inches) and produces small, detailed flowers with a diameter of 0–5 cm.
