Product Description - Canna Chocolate Sunrise
Canna ‘Chocolate Sunrise’ is a bold, tropical-looking canna grown for its dramatic dark, chocolate-toned foliage and glowing orange-yellow flowers. The warm bloom colour pops beautifully against the deep leaves, creating an instant “summer resort” effect in borders and large containers. This variety is ideal for adding height, structure, and rich colour contrast to sunny plantings. It also combines well with dahlias, salvias, and ornamental grasses for a vibrant late-season display.
The plant grows to a height of 100–150 cm (39–59 inches) and produces bright sunny yellow flowers with an orange tint, with a flower diameter of 5–10 cm, from July to September. Its luminous blooms, set above broad, dark foliage on strong upright stems, are ideal for tropical-style borders, feature containers, and warm-colour planting schemes that need height and long-lasting summer performance. ‘Chocolate Sunrise’ thrives in full sun in fertile, evenly moist but well-drained soil and rewards regular watering and feeding with vigorous growth and reliable flowering.
