Plant the bulbs of Yellow Futurity in spring after the frost has receded. Sunny, moderately damp locations are best for this tropical plant. Although exotic in appearance, it doesn't need a lot of attention. You should only fertilise it occasionally and make sure that it doesn't dry out. The plant is not adapted to cold winters, so remove the tubers from the soil before the thermometer dips to -17 °C.
A striking plant with large, glossy green leaves which extend to the edge and a powerful flower stalk, it is suitable for the decoration of green areas as well as for cutting. The canna looks very pretty in a group arrangement. The plant takes on a new look when up to six luxurious light yellow buds open on each flower stalk. The entire garden blooms with the canna, giving the owner an aesthetic pleasure.

How to Plant - Canna Lily Yellow Futurity
Guide and tips for planting canna lily bulbs

Choose the planting location: Canna bulbs prefer full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid planting in areas with standing water or where the soil remains soggy after rainfall.

Prepare the soil: Loosen the soil and remove any weeds or debris from the planting area. Amend the soil with compost or organic matter to improve the soil's fertility and drainage.

Plant the bulbs: Dig a hole that is about 8-12 cm deep and place the Canna bulb with the pointy end facing up. Space the bulbs about 36-48 cm apart.
