Product Description - Canna Shining Orange
Canna ‘Shining Orange’ is a vibrant garden canna that brings an instant tropical feel with its glowing orange flowers and bold, architectural foliage. The bright colour creates a strong summer accent in borders and looks especially effective in hot-colour schemes, exotic-style plantings, and large patio containers. With its upright habit and lush leaves, it adds structure even before peak flowering. This variety pairs beautifully with dahlias, salvias, and ornamental grasses for a long-lasting, high-impact display.
The plant grows to a height of 70–80 cm (28–31 inches) and produces bright orange flowers with a diameter of 5–10 cm. Its luminous blooms, held above broad decorative foliage on sturdy upright stems, are ideal for sunny borders, edging tropical-style beds, and statement containers where strong colour is needed in a compact size. ‘Shining Orange’ thrives in full sun in fertile, evenly moist but well-drained soil and rewards regular watering and feeding with vigorous growth and reliable flowering through the season.
