Product Description - Canna Shining Yellow
Canna ‘Shining Yellow’ is a bright, tropical-looking canna with cheerful yellow flowers that light up summer borders and patio containers. Its lush, upright growth and broad leaves add a strong architectural accent, making it ideal for “exotic style” plantings. Easy to grow and undemanding, it’s a reliable choice when you want bold colour with minimal fuss. The long-lasting blooms are also excellent for bringing a sunny accent into summer floral styling.
The plant grows to a height of 70–80 cm (28–31 inches) and produces cheerful yellow flowers with a diameter of 5–10 cm. Its bright blooms sit above bold, tropical foliage, making it perfect for large pots and tubs, sunny patio planting, and vibrant back-of-border accents in warm-season beds. Flowering starts in July, and ‘Shining Yellow’ performs best in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil kept consistently moist; as a heat-loving plant, it won’t flower well in shade.
