Product Description - Rose Alabaster
The Rose 'Alabaster' (Rosa 'Alabaster', also known as Rosa 'WEKgerog') is a breathtaking floribunda rose renowned for its clusters of pure white, fully double blooms that evoke timeless purity and sophistication. The cupped flowers, with 25–40 petals and a subtle, sweet fragrance, open to reveal creamy ivory centers, blooming abundantly in waves from late spring through fall. Bred by Tom Carruth in 1999 for Weeks Roses, this compact variety is perfect for borders, containers, or mass plantings, providing a serene backdrop or stunning cut flowers with excellent vase life.
The plant grows to a height of 60–90 cm (24–35 inches) with a bushy spread of 60–75 cm. Its glossy, dark green foliage offers exceptional disease resistance, particularly against black spot and mildew, complementing the pristine flowers, which measure 8–10 cm in diameter. 'Alabaster' thrives in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil, requiring minimal maintenance while attracting pollinators. Hardy in USDA zones 5–9, it is ideal for temperate gardens and repeated blooming displays.
