Product Description - Rose Claret Pixie
Rose 'Claret Pixie' (Rosa floribunda) is a captivating, miniature floribunda rose prized for its vibrant, deep claret-red flowers with a velvety black sheen, adding a touch of elegance to any garden. Its flat, cup-shaped, double blooms, with 30–40 petals, form clusters that create a continuous, eye-catching display. The lightly fragrant flowers are complemented by glossy, dark green foliage, making it a standout in group plantings along paths or in containers.
This compact variety grows to a height of 40–70 cm (16–28 inches) with a spread of 30–50 cm (12–20 inches) and blooms repeatedly from early summer to fall (June–September). 'Claret Pixie' thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 5.5–7.0. Known for its strong vigor, disease resistance, and frost hardiness, it’s ideal for borders or small gardens and is hardy in USDA Zones 5–9. Regular deadheading and light pruning in late winter ensure prolonged blooming and a tidy form.
