About Rose ‘Falstaff’ – Rich Crimson English Rose
Rose ‘Falstaff’ is one of the finest English roses, admired for its magnificent deep crimson blooms and powerful old rose fragrance. The large flowers are densely petaled and open into full, quartered rosettes with an unmistakably old-fashioned appearance. Their velvety crimson colour gradually develops rich purple tones as the blooms mature, creating remarkable depth and elegance. Flowering repeatedly from early summer until autumn, this variety combines exceptional beauty with reliable garden performance. Its vigorous upright growth and healthy foliage make it an excellent specimen for mixed borders and traditional rose gardens.
How to Plant Rose ‘Falstaff’?
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Allow spacing of 120–150 cm between plants to promote healthy airflow and strong growth. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain even moisture during dry periods. Apply mulch annually to improve soil fertility and conserve moisture. Feed regularly throughout the growing season to encourage abundant flowering and healthy foliage.
