About Rose ‘Fancy Babylon Eyes’ – Colourful Eye-Catching Shrub Rose
Rose ‘Fancy Babylon Eyes’ is a distinctive modern shrub rose celebrated for its striking flowers featuring a dramatic dark central eye. The single blooms display attractive shades of soft pink, apricot, and cream that beautifully surround the deep burgundy centre, creating an exotic appearance. The open flower form attracts bees and other pollinators, making this variety both ornamental and environmentally beneficial. Blooming continuously from early summer until autumn, it provides a lively and colourful display for many months. Its compact, bushy growth habit and healthy foliage make it an excellent choice for borders, containers, and wildlife-friendly gardens.
How to Plant Rose ‘Fancy Babylon Eyes’?
Plant in a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Allow spacing of 70–100 cm between plants to ensure healthy development and airflow. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain moderate moisture during dry periods. Apply mulch annually to retain moisture and improve soil quality. Feed during the growing season to encourage repeat flowering and vigorous growth.
