About Rose ‘Fighting Temeraire’ – Graceful Soft Pink English Rose
Rose ‘Fighting Temeraire’ is an elegant English shrub rose admired for its distinctive open blooms and soft romantic colouring. The flowers begin as full, cupped blooms in delicate apricot-pink shades before gradually opening to reveal golden stamens surrounded by creamy blush petals. This natural transformation gives the shrub a constantly changing appearance throughout the flowering season. Blooming repeatedly from early summer until autumn, it produces a generous display while attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators. The graceful, arching habit and healthy foliage make it an excellent addition to cottage gardens and mixed perennial borders.
How to Plant Rose ‘Fighting Temeraire’?
Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded location with fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Allow spacing of 120–150 cm between plants to encourage healthy growth and good air circulation. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain even moisture during dry periods. Apply mulch annually to conserve moisture and improve soil fertility. Feed regularly throughout the growing season to support repeat flowering and vigorous development.
