About Rose ‘Flower Carpet Lichtblick’ – Bright Red Landscape Rose
Rose ‘Flower Carpet Lichtblick’ is a vigorous ground cover rose admired for its brilliant red blooms and exceptional flowering performance. The flowers are produced in large clusters and continuously cover the plant from late spring until autumn, creating a vivid carpet of colour. Their bright red tones remain attractive throughout the season and contrast beautifully with the glossy green foliage. This variety combines ornamental beauty with excellent disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for low-maintenance gardens. Its spreading growth habit allows it to quickly fill borders, slopes, and open landscape areas with long-lasting colour.
How to Plant Rose ‘Flower Carpet Lichtblick’?
Choose a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Allow spacing of 80–120 cm between plants to encourage full coverage and healthy airflow. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain moderate moisture during establishment. Apply mulch annually to conserve moisture and improve soil structure. Light pruning in early spring helps maintain a neat shape and promotes vigorous flowering.
