About Rose ‘Gospel’ – Velvety Purple-Red Hybrid Tea Rose
Rose ‘Gospel’ is a luxurious hybrid tea rose admired for its richly coloured blooms in shades of deep purple-red and velvet crimson. The flowers are large, densely petaled, and elegantly formed, creating a dramatic and sophisticated display throughout the season. A strong fragrance enhances the blooms and makes this variety especially appealing near patios and seating areas. The shrub develops an upright growth habit with glossy dark foliage that beautifully complements the intense flower colour. Its combination of elegance and perfume makes it a favourite among collectors of fragrant roses.
How to Plant Rose ‘Gospel’?
Plant in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Allow spacing of 80–120 cm between plants for healthy growth and airflow. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain regular moisture during dry periods. Apply mulch annually to retain soil moisture and improve soil quality. Feed during the growing season to support vigorous development and abundant flowering.
