About Rose ‘La Rose des 4 Vents’ – Soft Pastel Harmony
Rose ‘La Rose des 4 Vents’ is a charming and poetic variety known for its delicately blended pastel blooms in shades of soft pink, apricot, and cream. The flowers are full and elegantly formed, opening gradually into romantic, layered rosettes that shift subtly in colour as they mature. A gentle fragrance enhances its appeal, while its repeat-flowering nature ensures a continuous presence of blooms throughout the season. The plant forms a well-branched, balanced shrub that integrates beautifully into mixed borders and lends a soft, harmonious feel to garden compositions.
How to Plant Rose ‘La Rose des 4 Vents’?
Select a sunny or lightly shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Plant with the graft union just below soil level and allow approximately 80–120 cm spacing for optimal growth. Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist during the establishment phase. Apply mulch annually and feed in spring and summer to encourage strong growth and repeated flowering cycles.
