About Rose ‘Leverkusen’ – Climbing Freshness
Rose ‘Leverkusen’ is a vigorous climbing rose known for its creamy white to pale yellow blossoms borne in abundant clusters. The semi-double flowers are lightly fragrant and create a luminous, airy effect when trained over arches, pergolas, or walls. Its strong, flexible canes make it easy to shape and guide along supports. Flowering repeatedly throughout the season, it ensures extended decorative value. The fresh coloration harmonizes beautifully with a wide range of companion plants and architectural garden features.
How to Plant Rose ‘Leverkusen’?
Plant in a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil near a sturdy support structure. Enrich the planting hole with compost and position the graft union slightly below soil level. Space plants at least 100–150 cm apart to allow for climbing growth. Water thoroughly after planting and tie young shoots gently to supports. Feed regularly during the growing season to encourage vigorous flowering and strong cane development.
