About Rose ‘Louise Odier’ – Roots and Flowers
Rose ‘Louise Odier’ is a classic Bourbon rose treasured for its large, richly scented pink blooms. The flowers are full and quartered, displaying a traditional old-rose form that exudes romance and elegance. Its strong fragrance is one of its most celebrated features. The plant grows vigorously with arching stems and lush foliage, making it suitable for both shrub and light climbing use. Blooming repeatedly throughout the season, it remains a favorite in heritage and cottage-style gardens.
How to Plant Rose ‘Louise Odier’?
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Ensure the graft union is slightly below soil level and allow ample space for its spreading growth.
