Rose 'Lovely Green' (Rosa floribunda), bred by Meilland in 2005, is a rare and exquisite floribunda rose celebrated for its unique, creamy-white flowers with a delicate greenish tinge, offering a sophisticated and subtle charm. The strongly double blooms, with 50–60 petals, form elegant, semi-open cups that maintain their shape, arranged in clusters of 5–8 flowers per stem. These lightly fragrant blooms, set against glossy, bright green foliage with finely serrated edges, make it a standout choice for cut flower arrangements and floral designs.
This compact variety grows to a height of 60–80 cm (24–31 inches) with a spread of 30–50 cm (12–20 inches) and blooms repeatedly from early summer to early fall (June–September). 'Lovely Green' thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 5.5–7.0. Known for its robust health, resistance to mildew, and frost hardiness, it’s ideal for borders, containers, or as a focal point in gardens. Regular deadheading and pruning in late winter promote continuous blooming. Hardy in USDA Zones 5–9.
