Product Description - Rose Marie Curie
The Rose 'Marie Curie' (Rosa 'Marie Curie', also known as Rosa 'MEIpitac' or 'Oremarie') is a stunning floribunda rose introduced by Meilland International in 1997, celebrated for its abundant clusters of medium-large, fully double blooms in a warm, glowing apricot-orange that deepens to peach-pink in cooler weather. The romantic, old-rose shaped flowers, with 40–60 delicately ruffled petals and an intense, classic fruity fragrance of citrus and ripe peach, open continuously from early summer until late autumn, creating a spectacular and long-lasting display. Named after the famous scientist Marie Skłodowska-Curie, this award-winning variety is perfect for beds, borders, low hedges, or as luxurious cut flowers that fill the room with color and scent.
The plant grows to a height of 80–110 cm (31–43 inches) with a bushy, rounded habit and a spread of 60–80 cm. Its glossy, dark green foliage offers excellent disease resistance, especially against black spot and mildew, complementing the luminous flowers, which measure 8–10 cm in diameter. 'Marie Curie' thrives in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil, requiring minimal care while attracting pollinators. Hardy in USDA zones 5–9, it is ideal for temperate gardens and delivers non-stop waves of warm, fragrant beauty.
