Product Description - Rose Midsummer
The Rose 'Midsummer' (Rosa 'Midsummer', also known as Rosa 'KORutrex') is a breathtaking floribunda rose introduced by Kordes Roses in 2011, celebrated for its generous clusters of large, fully double blooms in a dreamy blend of peach, apricot, and soft pink that glows warmly in the sun. The nostalgic, quartered-rosette flowers, with 50–70 ruffled petals and an intense, classic fruity fragrance of ripe peach and rose, open continuously from early summer until late autumn, creating a romantic and long-lasting display. This award-winning variety is perfect for beds, borders, low hedges, or as luxurious, long-lasting cut flowers that bring summer’s warmth indoors.
The plant grows to a height of 80–120 cm (31–47 inches) with a bushy, upright habit and a spread of 60–90 cm. Its glossy, dark green foliage offers outstanding disease resistance, especially against black spot and powdery mildew, complementing the luminous flowers, which measure 8–10 cm in diameter. 'Midsummer' thrives in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil, requiring minimal care while attracting pollinators. Hardy in USDA zones 5–9, it is ideal for temperate gardens and delivers non-stop waves of fragrant, glowing beauty.
