About Rose ‘Monika’ – Roots and Flowers
Rose ‘Monika’ is a striking hybrid tea rose featuring vibrant orange-red blooms with yellow reverse petals. The large, elegant flowers stand out strongly against dark green foliage and hold their colour well in sunshine. With its upright growth and long stems, it is especially valued for cut flower arrangements. This variety combines dramatic colouring with dependable flowering throughout the season.
How to Plant Rose ‘Monika’?
Plant Rose ‘Monika’ in rich, well-drained soil in full sun to enhance flower colour and strength. Place the graft union just below the soil surface and space plants 60–80 cm apart. Water deeply after planting and regularly during dry spells. Mulching improves moisture retention and soil structure. Apply rose fertilizer during the growing season to encourage continuous flowering.
