About Rose ‘Montana’ – Roots and Flowers
Rose ‘Montana’ is a robust hybrid tea rose known for its large, vivid red blooms that open in a classic, high-centered form. The flowers create a bold visual impact and are well suited for cutting due to their strong stems and long-lasting quality. Its upright, vigorous growth habit and healthy foliage make it a dependable garden performer, ideal for borders, rose beds, and formal plantings where strong colour is desired.
How to Plant Rose ‘Montana’?
Plant Rose ‘Montana’ in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position with at least six hours of direct sunlight. Set the graft union slightly below soil level and space plants 60–80 cm apart. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture during dry periods. Mulching helps retain soil moisture and regulate temperature. Regular feeding during the growing season supports strong growth and abundant flowering.
