About Rose ‘Mr. Lincoln’ – Roots and Flowers
Rose ‘Mr. Lincoln’ is one of the most famous hybrid tea roses, celebrated worldwide for its deep velvet-red blooms and exceptional fragrance. The large, high-centered flowers open slowly, revealing richly coloured petals that retain their intensity throughout the season. Its strong, upright stems make it an outstanding cut rose, while its classic appearance suits formal rose gardens. This variety is especially valued for combining beauty, perfume, and timeless elegance.
How to Plant Rose ‘Mr. Lincoln’?
Plant Rose ‘Mr. Lincoln’ in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny location with good air circulation. Position the graft union just below soil level and space plants about 60–80 cm apart. Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist during dry periods. Mulching helps conserve moisture and improve soil structure. Regular feeding during the growing season encourages strong growth and large, fragrant blooms.
